JBL speakers are awesome! At least for me and many others out there. It’s one of the best brands on the market. If you’ve bought yourself a new Bluetooth JBL speaker, here is how to connect multiple JBL devices together:
If your speaker supports “JBL Connect Or Connect+ Or Partyboost technology”, then it should be very easy to connect multiple JBL speakers together. You can pair up to 100 JBL speakers wirelessly via Bluetooth.
JBL Flip 3, JBL Charge 3, JBL Pulse 2 & JBL Clip 2 feature the JBL connect technology and can be connected to each other wirelessly.
On the other hand, JBL Flip 4, and JBL Xtreme 2. JBL Pulse 3, JBL Charge 4, and JBL Boombox feature the JBL Connect+ function which is advanced compared to the normal “connect function” and all of them can be connected to each other.
Lastly, JBL Flip 5 & JBL Pulse 4 comes with a special “partyboost” function and they also can be paired with each other via Bluetooth.
Now, which devices feature JBL connect function they can’t be connected with those devices which have built-in JBL Connect+ function, also the JBL connect+technology carrier can’t be linked with “partyboost” function supported JBL speaker (For example Jbl Pulse 3 & Jbl pulse 4 can’t be connected to each other) and finally, Partyboost featured devices won’t pair with JBL connect supported speakers, for instance, Jbl flip 3 won’t pair with Jbl flip 5.
But if you want to connect any types of Jbl Bluetooth speakers together then the process is the same for all, look at the below:
To connect multiple jbl speakers together, you need to turn on all of your JBL speakers first.
First, you need to activate pair mode in all of your Jbl speakers. To activate pair mode, press and hold the Bluetooth button of your speakers for 3-5 seconds and then release. Now, turn on your Devices’ Bluetooth function, then scan for JBL speakers and click to connect all.
Go to Youtube or any other platform to play videos or audio to check if you can hear the sound coming from your speaker.
Because you’re using now JBL speakers, you’ll need to link them with one another as well. Press the “Connect” button on your first JBL speaker
The number of speakers you wish to connect with will be paired within 30 seconds. As soon as this is done, the audio will be played through all other jbl speakers.
You can only disconnect the speakers from your device by going to the Bluetooth settings and clicking on “forget” or “delete” that speaker.
Also, you can just simply click connect button again or turn off the first JBL speakers to break the link with each other.
It is possible that your speaker(s) are out of range for the JBL Connect feature to work.
Try these things:
Yes, you can sync up to 100 JBL Bluetooth speakers

JBL can’t really go 3 Be linked. It’s just a fancy term created by JBL to describe what you’re doing when you pair two or more JBL speakers together and listen to the same music source across all speakers.
Yes, you can, Open the JBL connect app and choose your speaker. Then tap on the Plus sign or Plus icon (it’s located in the bottom left corner) and you will be asked if you want to add another device via NFC or Bluetooth. Choose “Add via Bluetooth”
